Sydney, Australia--I got a call from a designer who had seen my website and needed a photographer for her wedding. I said, "I don't do weddings, but can recommend someone." She replied, "I don't want a wedding photographer. That's why I called you." So I agreed, and shot my first-ever wedding. We did some fun un-wedding setups as well as many photos like this one.

Sunday morning, my first day off in over a week, I'm in search of a decent coffee when I come across this ringing convergence of lines. I eventually did find a coffee, but after this shot I didn't really need it.

As part of an ongoing series of photo shoots for Sotheby's, the auction house, I was asked to photograph the Valentine's Day (Auction)Red fund-raiser organized by Bono, Bobby Shriver, and Damien Hirst, which was held at Sotheby's New York City headquarters. To commemorate the festivities, the entire building was lit up with red spotlights, and a gala party was held after the auction, during which Bono came on stage to perform. Auction nights at Sotheby's are always somewhat festive, but this particular evening was over the top.

At the beginning of this year, I was on assignment photographing the newly renovated NY Renaissance Hotel in Times Square designed by architect Jordan Moser. All the furniture and light fixtures were hand-made including a panel of glass light "tendrils" over a small computer niche. While photographing the area, I took some time and explored some abstractions of the lights.

I took it a step further in post, giving it an underwater glow.

Jeff Zaruba was commissioned by a Scottsdale interior design firm to create an original piece of art for the lobby of a small private bank. The theme? The Romance of the Open Road in Arizona. Days of scouting with a good road map turned up this incredible location, and Jeff's idea of using a pick-up (instead of a convertible) was chosen once everyone agreed that the truck was really more representative of rural Arizona.

The image was captured as a 22 meg file and the final inkjet print was over 50 inches wide.
